Senior Chamber Choir Charity Song 2021

One Day has been written by members of St Cedd’s School's Senior Chamber Choir in response to their experiences during Lockdown and the return to school. It is a song about wishing for a time when everyone can be together again and showing support for those who are finding things hard. Please watch the following videos to see the Senior Chamber Choir record their charity song and learn more about it:

The song can be downloaded via the following links:

If you have downloaded the song and feel able to make a donation via the links below it would be much appreciated. The Senior Chamber Choir have chosen to support the following two charities through the release of One Day:

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity

This year one of our much loved teachers, Mrs Ho You, passed away after her long battle with cancer. She was an incredibly creative, caring and passionate teacher who always ensured that the children in her care were happy and, as a result, able to achieve their best whilst in School. Vanessa was a much loved friend and colleague to the staff at St Cedd's School, as both a parent and teacher since the early 2000s.

Kingsway International Christian Centre's Noah’s Ark Food Bank

One of the choir members who helped to compose the song suggested KICC Noah’s Ark who provide much needed food banks in Kent and parts of Essex. In discussions whilst writing the song several pupils mentioned wanting to show people in need that they were not alone, and the provision of food to those who really need it is one way of doing this.
