Our events
We run an exciting annual programme of events, which we try to vary as much as possible in the hope that there will be something for everyone. These include Quiz Nights, Summer Fun Days, Summer Balls, trips to theme parks or the theatre, Christmas Fayres, Christmas parties, drinks evenings and coffee mornings to name a few!
Spring Term 2025 Events
Tuesday 25 March at 14:00-16:00 - Parents' Association Nearly New Uniform Sale (Dance and Drama Studio)
Money raised
Thanks to the generous support of our parents in the past, some of the purchases we have made for our children are, wet play toys, playground toys, cameras and whiteboards. We have funded performances by touring theatre companies, and we donate money termly to the School Council to use on projects chosen by the children. Every year we provide the Year 6 children with autograph books and we pay for their Leavers Book which is a wonderful memento of their time with us. The Treasurer's Reports can be found on the Charity Commission website.
Meetings
We hold our Annual General Meeting in June. All parents are invited to come along and take part in the proceedings. We elect a committee of up to 16 members including a Chair, Deputy Chair, Treasurer, Membership Secretary and Secretary. Monthly meetings are held usually on the first Tuesday evening of every month during term time, and as far as practicable we try to have a parent from each year group as members of the Committee. New parents are always welcome to join the Parents’ Association Committee, and we do hope you will come along to our AGM in June, especially if you would like to find out more about us.

Communication
We will be keeping in touch with you via the school Weekly Bulletin and Classlist. You are welcome to contact us by e-mail, stceddsparentsassociation@gmail.com, or by using the blue post box, located by the school gate, to communicate with us. Contact details are published in the back of the Termly Calendar which is distributed to each child.
Classlist
The school uses Classlist to bring together the school community digitally and you will be sent a link to join Classlist when you join the school. The Parents' Association uses this platform to communicate with families, so keep an eye out for updates!
It is only through the support and contributions from our parents that the Parents’ Association is able to do so much for the children. Please keep an eye out for our appeals or events and do get involved or contribute when you can.
