St Cedd’s school Pupil Receives Special Letter from Famous Author!

We are delighted to share the news that one of our Year 6 pupils, Evie Clark, has received a personal, handwritten postcard from award-winning writer Michael Morpurgo, author of classics such as Warhorse, Private Peaceful and Kensuke's Kingdom. 

Evie had taken the time to write to Michael - a letter all about her love for his book, The Best of Times. She had explained how she loved the built-up tension throughout the novel as well as all of the vibrant characters.

Evie also had the special opportunity to meet Michael himself, and the school is not only proud of Evie’s achievement but also very touched by this response.
